It is very visually appealing and not too difficult of a game. The ending is super good, and I love the story progression.. ouch, oof, my feelings, oof. +Monster girls cute.+I have 7 daughters now. +Easy to get a hang of, and if you have trouble still, there's a guide book you can click on whenever. +Multiple endings, but you have pretty good control on which ending you get. (meaning: you don't get screwed up and can't go back, unless you get a "bad end".) -You kill the monster girls. :( or. well. not I guess. if you want to. -Kinda short. I enjoyed it though, so, I guess I don't mind. It only took me about 7 hours to beat with some extra endings. I've yet to get to the end, as the trial and error process is *really* killing me. But even though the day to day tasks are repetitive, the grim business of making and murdering little homonculi girls helps me slog through it. If you're not a fan of that, then I'd either wait for a sale or look for a full playthrough. Great game with a great story and artif you're after the story the this game is definitely for youbut the gameplay is kind of repetitive so you'll have to deal with that. My Lovely Daughter is a... Unusual game. You play an anmesiac father trying to bring his daughter back from a soulless state, which as a whole sounds very noble and fatherly. A real family motive, if you will. Yet it's a rather dark descent as you bring forth homunculi to cultivate different aspects of her soul; namely: fear, joy, anger, and sorrow. You cultivate the soul by sending the homunculi to work for a week at different jobs, giving them experience and your wallet money. Money spent on buying more ingredients for homunculi, repairing the house, or preventing your daughter's body from rotting away.Gameplay wise, it's very very repeatative. You go week in and week out doing the same activities to raise homunculi that will likely be "farmed" for their essense in a matter of days. Yet, the charm comes from the interactions between the homunculi and yourself, who they see as a father figure. Which is logical considering that you gave them life.The music is alright, and generally fits the mood/tone of the game. And the graphics are ok for a cartoonish art style. The scenes that occur througout the game are very well done, and provide a nice visual to go along with the killings. Though I believe there is a limit to these since the total combinations of homunculi is based on a combination of 2 material types, material quality, and combination of materials.On a side note, I find it amusing that the name of the character is Faust. Faust a name of a character from the German book Faust, who sells his soul to the devil (or in this case his daughter's) for knowledge. This may or may not have anything to do with the game, but it is an interesting choice in a name.As a whole, I recommend trying out My Lovely Daughter, though $14.99 may be a bit steep of a price for the amount of gameplay in it.. This game is literally a princess maker.
